The Yamaha CG162S is a full-sized, nylon-string classical guitar featuring a solid Engelmann spruce top, ovangkol back and sides, and a gloss finish. Its bridge is fashioned out of rosewood, while its 25.6" scale nato neck is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard and a set of gold classical tuners with white pearloid buttons. It is designed to serve as a high-quality instrument for intermediate players.
