The StingRay Classic RAY25CA revives the original StingRay Classic for today’s players. This bass is loaded with vintage-correct appointments that make you feel like you’re back in the ‘70s. It features a vintage-style flat slab nyatoh body for plenty of low-range resonance. The body is loaded with an H-1 humbucker with a ceramic magnet for a high-output tone with a strong treble response. Meanwhile, you also get a 9-volt active preamp for tons of headroom and a 2-band EQ for simple tone-shaping. The body is bolted to a hard maple neck with a vintage-style nut width. Measuring in at 38mm, the nut is slightly narrower than normal a feature that bassists here at Music Bliss really appreciate.
