The Soldano Super Lead Overdrive Plus pedal packs both channels of the legendary SLO-100 tube amp into a pedalboard-friendly stompbox, enabling you to toggle between blues-soaked crunch and fire-breathing high gain with a tap of your foot. This pedal re-creates the original amplifier’s cascading-gain-stage topology perfectly; its Overdrive channel delivers what’s arguably the most detailed-sounding high-gain tones of all time, and its Normal channel is a dead ringer for its tube-fueled predecessor’s Crunch mode, equipping you with an inspiring blues-tinged sound with unbelievable touch sensitivity. The stompbox’s top-panel controls echo those of the amp that inspired it, with a shared 3-band EQ and a shared Presence knob. You also get per-channel Master and Preamp knobs, along with a side-mounted Deep switch for nailing the original amp’s Depth-knob low-end punch.
