The sE Electronics T2 multi-pattern mics have become ubiquitous studio workhorses around the globe, including at Music Bliss Studios. Now, sE Electronics has introduced a cardioid-only version of this revered mic in the form of the T1-U. The T1-U features the sophisticated design and ultra-fast transient response as its “big brother,” plus the same handcrafted 1-inch true condenser capsule and a Mylar diaphragm (both titanium-sputtered). The T1-U’s 20Hz to 20kHz frequency range also makes it ideal for a variety of sources, including pianos, bass cabs, percussion instruments, and much more, and it also comes in a matched pair bundle for even more utility. Lastly, the sE Electronics T1-U sports a couple of excellent source-shaping capabilities, namely a selectable 80/160Hz low-cut filter and -10/-20dB pad.
