Korg’s Mono/Poly analog synthesizer of the 1980s has achieved legendary status among the synth cognoscenti, and for good reason. Its unique paraphonic architecture with four stacked oscillators enabled what was essentially a monosynth to create fat, overtone-rich sounds that could go toe-to-toe with many polysynths of the era.
