The String Machine from EastWest is a plug-in homage to string synths of the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s that’s packed with strings, pads, brass instruments, woodwinds, and much more. Each sound onboard features immaculate research and design from Doug Rogers and Nick Phoenix, leveraging decades of combined experience crafting vintage-inspired virtual instruments. The String Machine features four independent instrument sections that are color coded for simplicity. Sections feature solo and ensemble options that let you craft minimalist and maximalist sounds and everything in between — a gamut of options expanded even further with effects like reverb and rich independent chorus controls for each section. The plug-in comes pre-loaded with 17 presets, and musicians can easily create and store their favorite sounds for recall. This is one synth plug-in not to miss!
