Darkglass has heard the calls of bassists around the world and worked to re-engineer a fan favorite, resurrecting the Duality Fuzz in the form of the Dual Fuzz Engine Mini Pedal. Small only in size, the Duality Dual Fuzz Engine delivers thundering lows with a veneer of distinctive, full-bodied fuzz. Its unique assembly comprises two individual discrete circuits: a gated sawtooth wave and a wicked high-octane grit. With the straightforward control scheme, the Duality knob blends between these two circuits, letting you dial in that sweet spot for your tone, while the level knob handles the overall output. Plus, the rear magnetic cover can be easily removed from the backplate to reveal internal blend and filter controls to manage the higher registers of the distorted tone and the blending curve of the circuits, respectively. Add in its pedalboard-friendly size and rugged housing, and you’ve got a pint-sized powerhouse that Music Bliss bassists consider a welcome return to form.
